In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Briar Woods Falcons basketball team scored a tight 47-41 triumph over the Tuscarora Huskies.

In their next game, the Falcons meet the Goretti Gael (Hagerstown, MD) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 15. Briar Woods will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Gael enter the match with a 5-3 record after their 68-48 non-league win over Springdale Prep (New Windsor, MD).
