Louisiana High School Basketball - St. Mary's Academy tops De La Salle
December 14, 2023: New Orleans, LA 70115 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the St. Mary's Academy Cougars (New Orleans, LA) and the host De La Salle Cavalier (New Orleans, LA), saw St. Mary's Academy's basketball squad knock off De La Salle by a count of 40-32.
With the victory, St. Mary's Academy upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 18. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Parkview Baptist won 67-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA)
Next up, the Cavalier play the Phoenix Spartans (Braithwaite, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. De La Salle will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 63-39 non-league loss to University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA).
