The El Diamante Miners basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host Hanford West Huskies to 49 in the Miners non-league victory on Thursday.

The Miners now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mission College Prep for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. El Diamante will battle a Royals team coming off a 46-45 non-league win over Lompoc (Lompoc, CA). The Royals record now stands at 5-3.

The Huskies (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgeview (Bakersfield, CA). The Wolf Pack come into the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Ridgeview triumphed over Stockdale (Bakersfield, CA), 65-27, in a non-league contest.
