Iowa High School Basketball - Grundy Center overwhelms West Marshall
December 14, 2023: Grundy Center, IA 50638 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Grundy Center Spartans (Grundy Center, IA) and the visiting West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA), saw Grundy Center's basketball squad wallop West Marshall by a tally of 47-18.
With the victory, Grundy Center improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host East Marshall (Le Grand, IA) to confront the Mustangs in a North Iowa Cedar - West challenge on Friday, December 15. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. East Marshall lost 67-32 in their recent league challenge against AGWSR (Ackley, IA)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Greene County Rams (Jefferson, IA) in a Heart of Iowa challenge, on Friday, December 15. West Marshall will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 55-16 league loss to Nevada (Nevada, IA).
