Oregon High School Basketball - Weston-McEwen holds off Joseph
December 14, 2023: Joseph, OR 97846 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Weston-McEwen TigerScots (Athena, OR) and the host Joseph Eagles (Joseph, OR), saw Weston-McEwen's basketball squad hold off Joseph by a tally of 33-26.
With the victory, Weston-McEwen improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The TigerScots travel to Echo (Echo, OR) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Echo won 33-23 in their recent league challenge against Wallowa (Wallowa, OR)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Dufur Rangers (Dufur, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. Joseph will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record.
