Iowa High School Basketball - Kingsley-Pierson ripped by Newell-Fonda
December 14, 2023: Kingsley, IA 51028 The Newell-Fonda Mustangs basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Kingsley-Pierson Panthers to 42 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Mustangs now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwest Webster for a Twin Lakes contest on Friday, December 15. Newell-Fonda will meet a Cougars team coming off a 49-45 non-league win over Eagle Grove (Eagle Grove, IA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-5.
The Panthers (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against West Sioux (Hawarden, IA). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, West Sioux was routed by Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD), 34-21, in a non-league contest.
