McNairy Central Bobcats (Selmer, TN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Middleton Tigers (Middleton, TN), 50-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, McNairy Central upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Adamsville (Adamsville, TN) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 5-2. Adamsville lost 48-36 in their recent non-league bout against Middleton (Middleton, TN)

Next up, the Tigers play the Walnut Wildcats (Walnut, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Middleton will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record.
