In Thursday's non-league outing, the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts (Tucson, AZ) basketball squad felled the visiting Rincon/University Rangers (Tucson, AZ), by a margin of 49-41.

The Thunderbolts (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against Canyon del Oro (Tucson, AZ). The Dorados go into the non-league outing with a 3-5 record.
