Iowa High School Basketball - Riverside overwhelms Red Oak
December 14, 2023: Red Oak, IA 51566 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Riverside Bulldogs (Oakland, IA) and the host Red Oak Tigers (Red Oak, IA), saw Riverside's basketball squad wallop Red Oak by a tally of 52-17.
With the victory, Riverside improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Treynor (Treynor, IA) to confront the Cardinals in a Western Iowa challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Treynor won 59-30 in their recent league challenge against IKM/Manning (Manning, IA)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Harlan Cyclones (Harlan, IA) in a Hawkeye Ten challenge, on Friday, December 15. Red Oak will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Cyclones come into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 66-44 league win over Glenwood (Glenwood, IA).
