North Carolina High School Basketball - Cannon fells Corvian Community

December 14, 2023: Concord, NC 28027

Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), 79-66 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cannon upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The Cougars host Covenant Day (Matthews, NC) to clash with the Lions in a bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 5-2.

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Community School of Davidson Spartans (Davidson, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Corvian Community will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 50-32 league win over Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC).
