December 14, 2023: Richmond, CA 94806 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Quarry Lane Cougars (Dublin, CA) and the host Making Waves Academy Marlins (Richmond, CA), saw Quarry Lane's basketball squad wallop Making Waves Academy by a tally of 60-36.
With the victory, Quarry Lane improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign.
Next up, the Marlins confront the Leadership Public Schools Richmond Pumas (Richmond, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Making Waves Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Pumas come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 86-25 non-league loss to Rodriguez (Fairfield, CA).
