With the victory, Sam Rayburn advances its record to 8-2 on the year. The Rebels host Celeste (Celeste, TX) to meet the Blue Devils in a 2A Region II District 14 match on Tuesday, December 17. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 6-5. Celeste won 59-38 in their recent non-league match against Alba-Golden (Alba, TX)
The Bulldogs now own a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boyd for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. Alvord will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 69-52 non-league loss to Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-13.
