December 14, 2024: Auburn Hills, MI 48326 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Avondale Yellowjackets (Auburn Hills, MI) and the visiting Michigan Collegiate Cougars (Warren, MI), observed Avondale's basketball team knock off Michigan Collegiate by a score of 76-62.
The Yellowjackets (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Adams (Rochester, MI). The Highlanders come into the Oakland - Red challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Adams was knocked off by West Bloomfield (West Bloomfield, MI), 57-53, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars encounter the River Rouge Panthers (River Rouge, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 16. Michigan Collegiate will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
