The Mildred Eagles (Corsicana, TX) basketball edged the host Big Sandy Wildcats (Big Sandy, TX), 60-58 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Edgewood for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 17. Mildred will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 41-40 non-league loss to Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-7.
