Virginia High School Basketball - Blue Ridge nips Riverdale Baptist

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Blue Ridge Barons basketball team scored a close 51-50 win over the Riverdale Baptist Crusaders.

The Barons (9-0) will now prepare for their contest against Stuart Hall (Staunton, VA). The Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Stuart Hall edged Tandem Friends (Charlottesville, VA), 87-54, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Crusaders battle the Fairfax Christian Cardinals (Dulles, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Riverdale Baptist will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Cardinals come into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 74-72 non-league loss to Mt. Zion Prep Academy Blue (Lanham, MD).
