December 14, 2024: Conroe, TX 77306 The Caney Creek Panthers basketball team scored 35 points and limited the visiting Lumberton Raiders to 24 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now possess a 4-11 record. They play next when they host College Park for a 6A Region II District 13 game on Tuesday, December 17. Caney Creek will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 71-60 non-league win over Royal (Brookshire, TX). The Cavaliers record now stands at 12-6.
With the loss, Lumberton falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Raiders host Silsbee (Silsbee, TX) to confront the Tigers in a 4A Region III District 18 game on Tuesday, December 17.
