The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the North Forney Falcons (Forney, TX) and the host Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX), observed North Forney's basketball team knock off Canyon by a score of 50-40.

The Falcons (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Rockwall-Heath (Rockwall, TX). The Hawks come into the 6A Region II District 10 challenge with a 13-3 record. In their last challenge, Rockwall-Heath prevailed over Cedar Hill (Cedar Hill, TX), 74-65, in a non-league challenge.
