Texas High School Basketball - Cumberland Academy routs Carlisle
December 14, 2024: Tyler, TX 75703 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Cumberland Academy Knights basketball team scored a big 63-42 win over the Carlisle Indians.
The Knights (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Kilgore (Kilgore, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 4A Region II District 16 contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, Kilgore was trounced by Pittsburg (Pittsburg, TX), 48-43, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Cushing Bearkats (Cushing, TX) in a 2A Region III District 22 contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Carlisle will attempt to better on its 2-12 season record. The Bearkats come into the contest with a 5-9 record after their 72-27 non-league win over Laneville (Laneville, TX).
