The Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO) basketball edged the visiting Castle View Sabercats (Castle Rock, CO), 52-50 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Wheat Ridge for a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 18.

With the loss, Castle View falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Sabercats travel to Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village, CO) to play the Bruins in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 19. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Cherry Creek won 47-37 in their recent non-league bout against Douglas County (Castle Rock, CO)
