December 14, 2024: Lake Leelanau, MI 49653 St. Mary Eagles (Lake Leelanau, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Cedarville Trojans (Cedarville, MI), 42-29 in a non-league match.
With the victory, St. Mary upgrades its record to 4-0 on the year. The Eagles travel to Northern Michigan Christian (McBain, MI) to face the Comets in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 18. The Comets enter the match with a record of 2-4.
The Trojans now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pickford for a Eastern Upper Peninsula match on Tuesday, December 17. Cedarville will face a Panthers squad coming off a 76-50 league win over Brimley (Brimley, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
