Ohio High School Basketball - St. Xavier thwarts Center Grove

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Xavier Bombers (Cincinnati, OH) and the visiting Center Grove Trojans (Greenwood, IN), observed St. Xavier's basketball team knock off Center Grove by a score of 67-48.

The Bombers (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Walton-Verona (Walton, KY). The Bearcats come into the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Walton-Verona prevailed over Scott (Covington, KY), 98-65, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans encounter the Martinsville Artesians (Martinsville, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Center Grove will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Artesians come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 84-65 league loss to Plainfield (Plainfield, IN).
