The Pymatuning Valley Lakers basketball team scored 68 points and limited the host Champion Golden Flashes to 57 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lakers now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Harding for a Northeastern game on Tuesday, December 17. Pymatuning Valley will confront a Skippers team coming off a 71-58 league win over Badger (Kinsman, OH). The Skippers record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Champion falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Golden flashes host LaBrae (Leavittsburg, OH) to confront the Vikings in a Mahoning Valley - Grey game on Monday, December 16. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 3-3. LaBrae won 55-51 in their recent non-league game against Lakeview (Cortland, OH)
