December 14, 2024: Genoa, OH 43430 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Genoa Area Comets basketball team scored a big 80-41 triumph over the Columbian Tornadoes.
The Comets (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lake (Millbury, OH). The Flyers go into the Northern Buckeye contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Lake was trounced by Ottawa Hills (Toledo, OH), 82-69, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tornadoes battle the Waite Indians (Toledo, OH) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, December 18. Columbian will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 90-55 non-league loss to St. Francis de Sales (Toledo, OH).
