Oregon High School Basketball - Cove holds off South Wasco County
December 14, 2024: Cove, OR 97824 The Cove Leopards basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting South Wasco County Redsides to 50 in the Leopards non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Leopards now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Imbler for a 1A Old Oregon game on Monday, December 16. Cove will confront a Panthers team coming off a 51-20 non-league loss to Vale (Vale, OR). The Panthers record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, South Wasco County falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Redsides travel to Irrigon (Irrigon, OR) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. The Knights go into the game with a record of 3-3. Irrigon won 63-59 in their recent non-league game against Ione/Arlington (Ione, OR)
