December 14, 2024: Crete, IL 60417 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL) and the visiting Oak Forest Bengals (Oak Forest, IL), observed Crete-Monee's basketball team knock off Oak Forest by a score of 63-45.
The Warriors (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Wolfpack come into the non-league challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Saint Ignatius College Prep was knocked off by Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL), 48-45, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Bengals encounter the Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 16. Oak Forest will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Celtics come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 52-50 non-league loss to Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL).
