Texas High School Basketball - Cypress Creek nips King
December 14, 2024: Houston, TX 77044 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Cypress Creek Cougars basketball team scored a close 64-59 triumph over the King Panthers.
The Cougars (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Cypress Ridge (Houston, TX). The Rams go into the 6A Region III District 17 contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Cypress Ridge was tipped by Strake Jesuit (Houston, TX), 61-41, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Summer Creek Bulldogs (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 23 contest, on Tuesday, December 17. King will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 10-6 record after their 63-53 non-league loss to Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX).
