Texas High School Basketball - Mansfield Summit sneaks past Cypress Creek
December 14, 2024: Arlington, TX 76001 The Mansfield Summit Jaguars (Arlington, TX) basketball edged the visiting Cypress Creek Cougars (Houston, TX), 46-44 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Jaguars now possess a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Bend Marshall for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 14. Mansfield Summit will play a Buffalos team coming off a 66-32 non-league win over Judson (Converse, TX). The Buffalos record now stands at 18-2.
With the loss, Cypress Creek falls to 11-10 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Cypress Ridge (Houston, TX) to play the Rams in a 6A Region III District 17 bout on Tuesday, December 17. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 5-10. Cypress Ridge lost 61-41 in their recent non-league bout against Strake Jesuit (Houston, TX)
