In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Episcopal Knights basketball team scored a good 69-50 triumph over the Shepherd Pirates.

The Knights (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. Pius X (Houston, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, St. Pius X was topped by Northland Christian (Houston, TX), 56-51, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Pirates confront the Tarkington Longhorns (Cleveland, TX) in a 4A Region III District 19 contest, on Tuesday, December 17.
