Alabama High School Basketball - Sumter Central triumphant over Eufaula
December 14, 2024: York, AL 36925 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Sumter Central Jaguars (York, AL) and the visiting Eufaula Tigers (Eufaula, AL), observed Sumter Central's basketball team overwhelm Eufaula by a score of 68-43.
The Jaguars (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Noxubee County (Macon, MS). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Noxubee County trounced Kemper County (DeKalb, MS), 44-42, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Enterprise Wildcats (Enterprise, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Eufaula will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 57-31 non-league win over Carroll (Ozark, AL).
