December 14, 2024: Calhoun, KY 42327 McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Evansville Day Eagles (Evansville, IN), 68-56 in a non-league match.
With the victory, McLean County advances its record to 3-3 on the year. The Cougars travel to Ohio County (Hartford, KY) to face the Eagles in a District 10 match on Tuesday, December 17. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 3-3. Ohio County won 66-43 in their recent non-league match against Caldwell County (Princeton, KY)
The Eagles now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carmi-White County for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7.
