In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Flour Bluff Hornets basketball team scored a good 44-29 triumph over the London Pirates.

The Hornets (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Alice (Alice, TX). The Coyotes go into the 5A Region IV District 29 contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Alice was topped by Brazoswood (Clute, TX), 74-58, in a non-league contest.
