Virginia High School Basketball - Forest Park holds off Manor
December 14, 2024: Woodbridge, VA 22193 In Saturday's league contest, the host Forest Park Bruins basketball team scored a close 49-42 triumph over the Manor Mustangs.
The Bruins (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Gar-Field (Woodbridge, VA). The Red Wolves go into the Eastern contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Gar-Field was tipped by L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA), 54-43, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Manor will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 64-53 non-league loss to Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA).
