December 14, 2024: Lubbock, TX 79407 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Georgetown Eagles basketball team scored a close 58-51 win over the Lubbock Christian Eagles.
The Eagles (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hendrickson (Pflugerville, TX). The Hawks come into the 5A Region III District 23 contest with a 4-13 record. In their last contest, Hendrickson was tipped by Cedar Creek (Cedar Creek, TX), 67-62, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Portales Rams (Portales, NM) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Lubbock Christian will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 67-53 non-league loss to Farwell (Farwell, TX).
