In Saturday's non-league test, the Richton Rebels (Richton, MS) basketball squad got by the visiting Greene County Wildcats (Leakesville, MS), by a final score of 50-47.

Next, the Rebels clash with the Presbyterian Christian Bobcats (Hattiesburg, MS) in a non-league test, on Thursday, December 19. Richton will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Bobcats come into the test with a 12-2 record after their 62-41 non-league win over Christian Collegiate Academy (Gulfport, MS).

The Wildcats (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Moss Point (Moss Point, MS). The Tigers come into the 4A Region 8 test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Moss Point was nipped by Independence (Independence, LA), 33-32, in a non-league test.
