The Independence Patriots bounced the host Wakefield Wolverines basketball squad by a final score of 75-34 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Patriots clash with the Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC) in a 4A Southwestern outing, on Friday, December 20. Independence will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record.

The Wolverines (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC). The Jaguars come into the non-league outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Athens Drive routed East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC), 46-36, in a non-league outing.
