Texas High School Basketball - San Augustine victorious over Jefferson
December 14, 2024: San Augustine, TX 75972 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host San Augustine Wolves basketball team scored a good 44-36 triumph over the Jefferson Bulldogs.
The Wolves (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against West Sabine (Pineland, TX). The Tigers go into the 2A Region III District 24 contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, West Sabine topped Buna (Buna, TX), 71-62, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Waskom Wildcats (Waskom, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Jefferson will attempt to better on its 9-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 6-5 record after their 58-49 non-league loss to White Oak (White Oak, TX).
