Kentucky High School Basketball - Menifee County holds off Lee County
December 14, 2024: Frenchburg, KY 40322 The Menifee County Wildcats basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Lee County Bobcats to 63 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wildcats now have a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Rowan County for a District 61 game on Tuesday, December 17. Menifee County will confront a Vikings team coming off a 56-49 non-league loss to Floyd Central (Eastern, KY). The Vikings record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Lee County falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Owsley County (Booneville, KY) to confront the Owls / Lady Owls in a District 56 game on Tuesday, December 17. The Owls / Lady Owls go into the game with a record of 2-6. Owsley County lost 68-54 in their recent non-league game against Oneida Baptist Institute (Oneida, KY)
