Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Scranton Prep sneaks past Liberty
December 14, 2024: Bethlehem, PA 18018 The Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA) basketball edged the host Liberty Hurricanes (Bethlehem, PA), 47-46 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Cavaliers now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Delaware Valley for a Lackawanna 1 bout on Thursday, December 19. Scranton Prep will play a Warriors team coming off a 41-37 non-league win over Warwick (Warwick, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Liberty falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host Emmaus (Emmaus, PA) to play the Hornets in a Lehigh Valley bout on Monday, December 16. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Emmaus won 44-40 in their recent league bout against East Stroudsburg North (Dingmans Ferry, PA)
