Wisconsin High School Basketball - Wausau East fells Little Chute
December 14, 2024: Little Chute, WI 54140 The Wausau East Lumberjacks basketball team scored 78 points and limited the host Little Chute Mustangs to 64 in the Lumberjacks non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Lumberjacks now have a 7-0 record. They play next when they host Marshfield for a Wisconsin Valley game on Friday, December 20. Wausau East will confront a Tigers team coming off a 62-53 non-league loss to Brookfield Central (Brookfield, WI). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Little Chute falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Luxemburg-Casco (Luxemburg, WI) to confront the Spartans in a North Eastern game on Tuesday, December 17. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 1-4. Luxemburg-Casco lost 57-52 in their recent league game against Clintonville (Clintonville, WI)
