December 14, 2024: Mabank, TX 75147 The Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX) basketball edged the host Mabank Panthers (Mabank, TX), 55-51 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Buffaloes now possess a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Winnsboro for a 3A Region II District 12 bout on Tuesday, December 17. Lone Oak will play a Raiders team coming off a 68-26 non-league win over Fannindel (Ladonia, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Mabank falls to 7-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Sulphur Springs (Sulphur Springs, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 17. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Sulphur Springs lost 74-47 in their recent non-league bout against Lake Belton (Temple, TX)
