In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Morgantown Mohigans basketball team scored a big 88-48 triumph over the Linsly Cadets.

The Mohigans (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Brooke (Wellsburg, WV). The Bruins go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Brooke was trounced by Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV), 63-44, in a non-league contest.
