December 14, 2024: Lakota, ND Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie] (Lakota, ND) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Richland Colts (Colfax, ND), 49-39 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie] advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The travel to Midway/Minto (Inkster, ND) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 2-0. Midway/Minto won 66-49 in their recent non-league match against Larimore (Larimore, ND)
The Colts now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lisbon for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. Richland will face a Broncos squad coming off a 40-32 non-league win over Maple River (Mapleton, MN). The Broncos record now stands at 1-0.
