The Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) basketball edged the host Poland Seminary Bulldogs (Poland, OH), 46-43 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Lancers now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Shenango for a WPIAL 2A 4 bout on Tuesday, December 17. Neshannock will play a Wildcats team coming off a 55-51 league win over South Side (Hookstown, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Poland Seminary falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Girard (Girard, OH) to play the Indians in a Northeast 8 bout on Tuesday, December 17. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Girard won 49-34 in their recent non-league bout against Lowellville (Lowellville, OH)
