The St. Joseph Central Irish (Huntington, WV) basketball were winner over the visiting North Marion Huskies (Farmington, WV), 55-47 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Irish now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Rock Creek Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 21. St. Joseph Central will play a Lions team coming off a 63-53 non-league win over Evansville Christian (Evansville, IN). The Lions record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, North Marion falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV) to play the Buccaneers in a Big Ten bout on Thursday, December 19.
