December 14, 2024: Torrance, CA 90504 Westchester Comets (Los Angeles, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host North Saxons (Torrance, CA), 62-38 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Westchester advances its record to 3-5 on the year. The Comets travel to Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV) to face the Gaels in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 18. The Gaels enter the match with a record of 7-0. Bishop Gorman won 66-64 in their recent non-league match against St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH)
The Saxons now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mid-Pacific Institute for a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. North will face a Owls squad coming off a 79-64 non-league win over Varsity Opponent (, ). The Owls record now stands at 9-3.
