Texas High School Basketball - Prairiland holds off Whitewright
December 14, 2024: Whitewright, TX 75491 The Prairiland Patriots basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Whitewright Tigers to 52 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Patriots now have a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Vernon for a 3A Region II District 12 game on Tuesday, December 17. Prairiland will confront a Tigers team coming off a 71-40 non-league loss to Dallas Christian (Mesquite, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 0-7.
With the loss, Whitewright falls to 12-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Trenton (Trenton, TX) to confront the Tigers in a 2A Region II District 14 game on Tuesday, December 17.
