December 14, 2024: Toledo, OH 43620 Springfield Blue Devils (Holland, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Scott Bulldogs (Toledo, OH), 50-36 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Springfield upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Clay (Oregon, OH) to face the Eagles in a Northern Lakes match on Tuesday, December 17. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 2-2. Clay won 84-63 in their recent non-league match against Evergreen (Metamora, OH)
The Bulldogs now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rogers for a Toledo City match on Friday, December 20. Scott will face a Rams squad coming off a 49-37 non-league loss to Anthony Wayne (Whitehouse, OH). The Rams record now stands at 5-2.
