Ohio High School Basketball - Southeast knocks off Springfield
December 14, 2024: Akron, OH 44312 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Southeast Pirates basketball team scored a good 66-47 win over the Springfield Spartans.
The Pirates (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Champion (Warren, OH). The Golden Flashes come into the Mahoning Valley - Grey contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Champion was topped by LaBrae (Leavittsburg, OH), 55-37, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Coventry Comets (Akron, OH) in a Metro contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Springfield will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Comets come into the contest with a 6-1 record after their 90-71 non-league win over Medina Christian Academy (Medina, OH).
