In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Sweetwater Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 46-43 triumph over the Southwestern Heights Mustangs.

The Bulldogs (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Sentinel (Sentinel, OK). The go into the Five County contest with a 4-1 record.

In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Spearville Lancers (Spearville, KS) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Southwestern Heights will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Lancers go into the contest with a 3-1 record after their 63-50 non-league win over Sublette (Sublette, KS).
