December 14, 2024: Denver, CO 80236 Cherokee Trail Cougars (Aurora, CO) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO), 69-41 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Cherokee Trail upgrades its record to 6-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO) to face the Raiders in a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 2-2.
The Mustangs now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wheat Ridge for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 18. Mullen will face a Farmers squad coming off a 48-43 non-league win over Lakewood (Lakewood, CO). The Farmers record now stands at 1-0.
